2003 Xiaguan Tibetan Flame Jincha

This 2003 Tibetan Flame Baoyan Jincha is a classic Xiaguan workhorse production. While these are well-known to be smoky, potent, and rough when young, they can age into something quite different. This example has very good natural Taiwan storage and is now quite smooth, with a comfortable, mellow sweetness and moderate oily thick mouthfeel. It has a gentle warming and flowing feeling. Besides being a good example of a classic tea, we think this is a good introduction to the charms of naturally aged traditionally made factory sheng puerh in general.
