This is an early production from the Yangji Tianyuan tea factory in Menghai, a small factory with close ties to the Menghai and Fuhai tea factories. This tea has been very well stored by a passionate individual collector, entirely in Malaysia, and shows a very enjoyable orchid aroma (兰香韵). The tea has fairly strong compression, and needs a couple of steeps to really get going; it gets quite oily and concentrated, with subtle aged wood notes.
