2008 DTH Shou
We have highlighted several vintages of DTH’s Yiwu sheng puerh production, such as the 2006 DTH Yiwu , the 2012 DTH Yiwu as well as the 2004 DTH Yiwu. Every few years, DTH creates a batch of Shou puerh, following as closely as possible what Ringo, the head of DTH, views as old-school factory shou production. Processing and profile-wise this has more in common with older batches of popular Menghai recipes than modern ripe tea. Smooth and dense with a textured mouthfeel, this shou is somewhat but not too sweet, with a hint of ginseng and good durability. A great tea for fans of old-school shou.
