A very good value from a lesser-known boutique producer in Taiwan, this Yiwu Huangshan is on the mid- to higher end of Yuanyuantang’s offerings. With higher quality material than the more budget-friendly Bulang and Guafengzhai cakes, this 375g cake delivers a strong Yiwu profile, with a good head-start in aging. Complex woody sweetness, leather, resinous aroma, and a focusing calming energy.
