One of our consistent favourites from Biyun Hao’s line of teas has been the Lishan Gongcha blended Yiwu gushu cake. Over the pandemic period, it has not been possible to recreate this blend, but finally this year it was possible to do a small run: this is a blend of gushu material from Manxiu and Yibi areas in roughly equal proportions. With good depth in the throat, plenty of juiciness and savoury oiliness, and a very enjoyable energetic effect, this limited production is inline with our favourite Lishan Gongchas from 2015 and 2019.
