90s Hongtaichang Shou

This is a 1990s shou production from the Hongtaichang company in Thailand, stored in Malaysia. It has medium fermentation, the wet leaf is still brownish green rather than black. Very clear red-brown liquor. Clean aged taste, with a strong comforting effect. We have only a couple of tongs of this, as it is from a friend’s collection in Malaysia. We have struggled to find a shou that we really want to highlight, with the older processing style, at a reasonable price, and this definitely fits the bill.
