This Late Qing/Early ROC teapot is made of zini clay mixed with specks of duanni (tiao sha: 調砂). This style of clay is quite rare and sought after by collectors, we are fortunate to be able to offer it for sale. The quality of the clay is excellent. The shape is a classic for the period, and shows the typical workmanship signs of LQER construction.
