We are extremely excited to be able to offer this Zhaozhuang Zhuni bale pot!
One of the most popular shapes in the period spanning from the late Qing dynasty to today – the guava. We commissioned a batch made of the same excellent Zhaozhuang Zhuni we have used for the biandengs. Among the different types of Yixing clay, Zhuni is denser and relatively less muting. We enjoy using it with aged sheng puerh (20+ years), as well as with oolongs and hongcha. The 80ml capacity makes it versatile to make tea for one but also to accommodate a guest.
The green tag reports information about the EDXRF test, which verifies that no additives were used in the processing of the clay.
