This zini teapot dates to the late Qing dynasty to the early Republic of China. It has a traditional shape, and a “kiss of flame” effect such that the lid and part of the body displays a darker color. The texture of the clay is fine and smooth. The wide mouth opening makes it convenient to clean out the spent leaves, and the straight spout pours smoothly.
